More Information about New Zealand Work Visa

From 4 July 2022 INZ implemented a new category of a work visa which is Accredited Employer Work Visa. To be eligible to hire overseas workers businesses must be accredited by Immigration New Zealand. They must provide evidence that they meet employment and immigration standards to receive the accreditation and authority to offer jobs to overseas applicants. Apart from the accreditation businesses must have a Job check approval for each role (can be for multiple positions).

Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) may be granted up to three years if the applicant is offered a NZ median pay rate $27,76 per/hour. For some occupations in different industries such as construction, hospitality, age care different rates apply.
Holders of this visa allow can support their dependent child’s visitor or student visa if they earn at least NZD $43,322.76 each year.
