New Zealand Resident Visas

There are different categories of New Zealand residence visa such as Residence Visa under Skilled Migrant Category (SMC); Residence Visa under the Partnership category; Residence Visa can be granted to victims of domestic violence, refugee, and protected person.

The most common one is a residence Visa under (SMC) which was reopened in November 2021, it is
being reviewed after closed in March 2020. Applicants for the residence under Skilled Migrant Category must meet the criteria set by the policy and obtain at least 180 points. Points system calculation is based on age, employment in New Zealand, qualification, work experience. The application process is divided into different stages, Expression of Interest (EOI); Invitation to Apply (ITA) to the applicant if EOI is successful; submission of the Application, and the assessment itself.
